The completion of Electrology School leads to the professional designation of Licensed Electrologist (L.E.). Electrologists are self-employed business people who grow the economy through their efforts in the marketplace. Our mission is to reward this entrepreneurial spirit by lowering tuition for approved students.
Our scholarship program was specifically created to assist licensed Aestheticians, Cosmetologists and Nail Techs to add Electrology to their menu of services and grow their businesses. We also consider all nurses, RN, LVN and Nursing Assistants who are looking to transition away from their profession and into Electrology. Each scholarship of $1,000 applies only to programs for students residing in the 32 States in our nation that license the practice of Electrology.
Travel Scholarships: Students attending AIE from the 18 unlicensed states in our nation can qualify for a limited number of travel scholarships. These are offered on a first come basis. Please contact us for information on our Travel Scholarships for unlicensed States.
Upon initial acceptance of an application we will contact you by phone for a brief follow-up interview. We reserve the right to request an interview at our offices prior to awarding a scholarship. We look forward to receiving your scholarship application and speaking with you about your new career choice.
All applications will be reviewed and considered. AIE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, financial status, age, area of origin or residence, in its scholarship selection policies or in admissions, staffing, instruction, and/or graduation policies.

For many years those of us associated with electrolysis understood that epilators operated at a frequency of 13.5 megahertz. About twelve years ago Dectro International introduced its Platinum line of epilators that operate at 27 MHz. Our horizons were expanded. Their claim is that hair is permanently removed 25% faster and with a degree of comfort previously unheard of. So what are we to make of an epilator that operates at 6.68 MHz?
At the American Institute of Education, we let our electrolysis graduates speak for us! Our state-of-the-art training leads to exciting, financially rewarding careers. Our graduates are some of the most sought after electrologists in the market.
I really loved school at American Institute of Education and I selected it because I heard it was the best program. The experience was amazing even from the first phone call with Ron where tuition, scholarships, program hours flexibility, online access, and timely information is all top notch. The curriculum is national standard and includes all the latest and greatest topics that are hot in the industry.
