Testimonials

AIE creates success from start to finish. The program is excellent, and I was able to attend school while working a part-time job. The schools success rate for passing the CA State Electrology Exam is unparalleled. In addition, they have been there for me to this day, years after graduating. I now have a successful business with other electrologists working for me! I highly recommend AIE.

Electrology Licensing Program for Montana

If you're interested in becoming an electrologist in Montana, the beautiful "Big Sky Country" is what we refer to as a licensed state. This means that Montana regulates the practice of electrology through licensing. Montana's Board of Cosmetologists requires that electrology students complete 600 hours of training before being allowed to sit for the state electrology licensing exam to become legally allowed to work as an electrologist in Montana.

For prospective electrologists, this means that AIE's 600 hour licensing program is what is required to work in Montana. This program is delivered in two modules, theory and practical. The theory module can be completed online and constitutes 45% of the curriculum or 272 hours, while the hands-on practical training is done in-school and is 55% of the curriculum or 328 hours. To help you study at your own pace, the theory and practical training modules may be taken separately or together.

In common with all AIE's programs, the 600 hour Montana licensing program is offered on an open-enrollment basis, so you may start any day you wish and you can complete your training on a flexible schedule. Depending on your personal schedule, you may complete your training in as little as 4 months or take as long as 24 months. The flexibility of our programs makes the choice all yours! As an AIE graduate, after passing the state exam you'll have the credibility that automatically comes with the professional designation, "Licensed Electrologist," and be legally able to call yourself an electrologist in the state of Montana.
