Electrology Licensing Program for New Hampshire
New Hampshire has an 1,100 hour electrology training requirement and at the present time, American Institute of Education does not support and offer this curriculum. One component of this state's 1,100 hour curriculum is skin care and NH's Department of Health and Human Services, the regulatory board for Electrologists, decided that this should be a requirement for all electrologists practicing in their state. The Directors of AIE decided that they would not offer this curriculum and we do not plan to do so in the future. If you plan to practice electrology in NH upon completing your training, we suggest that you attend a school in this state.
If, alternatively, you live on the border of a neighboring state and plan to work there rather than in NH or, if you are planning to move from NH to another part of our country, call our Director, Ron Davis at 888-844-4247. AIE trains students for most other states in our nation and we would be pleased to assist you.
