What Is Electrology

Electrology is the study of permanent hair removal with the use of an electric needle or probe, utilizing three modalities known as Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend.

Reasons To Become A Licensed Electrologist

There are many reasons you should consider becoming a licensed Electrologist. The top four reasons:

  1. Earn Great Money
Graduates of AIE earn $65 to $120 an hour and more. Licensed electrologists are professionals who enjoy an above average income, while working hours that most consider to be part-time.

  2. Be Your Own Boss
It’s the dream of most of us—be your own boss and set your own hours. With a Professional Certification in Electrology you can do exactly that! Electrologists often work for themselves either in a salon or from their own clinic.

  3. Earn Respect
Imagine how proud your friends and family will be after you’ve earned your Professional Certification.

  4. Big Demand, Small Supply
A career in permanent hair removal is in demand everywhere in the world. There aren’t enough L.E.s to go around. So there’s more than enough work available.
